Remember When

The Lake Shore Café was located at the southwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Washington Street. It was named when the Penn Central Railroad was the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern. This photo is dated Jan. 6, 1973. The block of buildings was torn down to make way for the La Porte County Complex. For information regarding this photo, contact mbarber@laportecountyhistory.org
