Worth noting and worth quoting

I feel that it is worth noting what President John F. Kennedy did not say. He did not say, ask not what your party can do for you, but ask what you can do for your party.

He did say, and I quote, "Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country."

If we as citizen voters, citizen politicians and citizen candidates put the country ahead of our parties, we will have the country our founding fathers intended, but we must work together.
