Doctors join Franciscan Physician Network health centers

La PORTE COUNTY — Franciscan Physician Network has welcomed new doctors to health centers in La Porte and Michigan City. Dr. Kayla Nebalsick, DO, will provide expert care for women at Legacy Hills Health Center in La Porte, and Dr. David Maldonado, DO, will practice family medicine at Coolspring Health Center in Michigan City.

Nebelsick is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She was trained at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colo. She did her residency at University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. Nebelsick’s clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, preconception health and obstetrical care and osteopathic manipulative treatment.

Maldonado received his training at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his residency at Hamilton Community Health Network in Flint, Michigan. Heritage Appraisal announces course completions

La PORTE — Alan Landing, owner of Heritage Appraisal Service, has announced his recent completion of two educational offerings taken to add to and broaden the company’s knowledge of the ever-changing property appraisal industry. Landing, who began his Real Estate career in 1978 has continued to grow his resume which includes the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute, the Certified General Appraisal License in Indiana and Michigan, as well as being an Indiana Broker.

The courses recently taken by Landing were Appraising Assisted Living Facilities, a commercial oriented course, and Common Questions For Residential Appraising. Landing continues to appraise both commercial and residential property, vacant land, and recently has been involved with a number of Court approved condemnation assignments.
