La PORTE — Stand-up Comedian Kyle Kinane will be headlining two shows at the La Porte Little Theatre in La Porte on Nov. 17.
La Porte Seamless Charity Corp (aka Big Comedy La Porte) is putting these shows on and as always, all profits are going to charity. This time, Family Advocates CAYA Program (Court Appointed Youth Advocate) is the program benefiting.
Kyle Kinane is an internationally touring stand-up comedian, actor and voice actor. He is best known for his four comedy albums including his well-known "Death of the Party," recorded at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. He has had a longstanding relationship with the cable channel Comedy Central. He has served as the voice for their on-air announcements since 2011. Kyle has been featured on The Tonight Show, Conan O’Brien, Last Call with Carson Daly, and been in movies including "Funny People" with Adam Sandler and "The House" with Will Ferrell.
Along with Kyle Kinane, three comedians straight from the Chicago comedy scene will be performing. The host for the evening is Little Theatre veteran Jake Wells. Chris Higgins will be doing a guest spot, and one of Chicago’s funniest humans, Kristen Toomey, will be in the feature spot.
This show is 21+ with a full cash bar and mature content. This is Big Comedy’s 10th show at the Little Theatre, and per usual, just because it's for charity doesn’t mean it’s G-rated! Adults only, please!
