WALKERTON — John Glenn High School has announced their valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2019.
Valedictorian is Abigail Houser, the daughter of James and Amy Houser.
Throughout her high school career, Abigail has participated in National Honor Society, Theatre Company, Student Council, Class Board, League of Extraordinary Falcons, Rhythm, Express, Falcon Fury, Spanish Club, Suzuki Music School in Granger where she plays the violin and viola, and is part of the North Liberty Church of the Brethren Youth Group and North Liberty Church of Christ Youth group. Abigail's GPA is 4.36 on a 4 point scale. Abigail plans to attend Saint Mary's College in South Bend to major in Mathematics.
Salutatorian is Taylor Murray, the daughter of John and Kim Murray. Taylor is a member of Falcon Fury, Student Council, Theatre Company, and played volleyball for all four years during high school. She has also been a member of National Honor Society for the past two years. While here at John Glenn she also participated in Spanish Club, Choir, Freshman Class Board, Junior Class Board and Senior Class Board. Taylor's GPA is 4.348 on a 4 point scale. Taylor plans to attend Purdue University in West Lafayette to major in Science or Pre-med.
