MICHIGAN CITY — Friendship Botanic Garden is gearing up for another spring season, and they need dedicated volunteers to help them get their 105-acre botanic park ready for another year of amazing experiences. Help the Gardens grow by joining them for the annual “Wake up the Gardens” Volunteer Workday.

Join them on March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers will be raking, picking up garbage, picking up sticks, hauling leaves, etc. It isn’t glamorous work, but it is necessary work.

Bring your own garden gloves. Bring a rake also if you are able to.

Light refreshments (water, cookies) will be provided. Dress for the weather! The event will occur rain or shine! This is also an opportunity for students to get community service hours.

RSVP to info@friendshipgardens.org or call (219) 878-9885 by March 28.
